Founded in 1853, the Sapcote Group has built its reputation on the diligent acquisition, renovation and management of commercial property, combined with exceptional personal service.

In over 170 years we’ve built up a wealth of industry knowledge and experience and won many awards for innovation, design and style. To date we’ve refurbished in excess of 10 million square feet of industrial and commercial space across London and the south east.

In recent times our focus has moved away from property development to expanding our commercial property interests nationwide, and in particular our varied London property portfolio.

Central to our business philosophy is our ability to see an opportunity and move quickly and decisively and we always have finance readily available for investment without the need for borrowing.

We still do things differently

Over the last five years we have slowly and carefully disposed of parts of our previous office and industrial estate portfolio. This decision was driven by the fact that they had reached maturity in terms of our ability to add further value. But disposal has also enabled us to fulfil our desire to diversify our property portfolio.

We have re-invested capital, mainly in stand-alone retail, leisure and industrial property ranging from Colchester to Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon to Southampton, although the bulk of our portfolio is still held in London. We also have a global equities investment portfolio as further diversification.

We have extensive experience in a wide range of stand-alone retail, leisure & industrial property schemes.
