Dylan Laing BSc (Hons), Marketing Executive

Dylan came to us from Hamptons International in 2008. Like Pietersen and Trott, he’s another South African to join a successful English team. “I’m proud of what we do at Sapcotes, especially how we develop every building differently according to its character or history.”

Best decision ever made: Leaving the hospitality sector for property. There’s less champagne around but it’s worth the sacrifice.

Best thing about you: My ability to listen as well as talk.

Favourite Sapcote Development: The Perfume Factory. It’s great how we’ve preserved the old Elizabeth Arden factory and turned into really fresh, contemporary office space.

Favourite old building: I’ve just returned from Venice and was fascinated by the buildings there - I’m trying to persuade the chairman to go international…

Last thing you recycled: My old trainers - they could have walked to the recycling bin on their own! I cycle to work and they’d taken quite a pounding.
